A man mentioned to his landlord about the tenants in the apartment over his.
"Many a night they stamp on the floor and shout till midnight."
The landlord asked him, "does it bother you? "

He replied. "Not really, for I usually stay up and practice my trumpet till about that time most every night anyway."

한 남자가 집주인에게 윗집 세입자들에 대해 얘기했다.

"밤에 마룻바닥을 쿵쿵대며 걷거나 한밤중까지 소리를 질러대는 경우가 많아요."

집주인이 물었다. "그것 때문에 신경이 쓰이나요?"

그가 대답했다. "꼭 그렇진 않아요. 저는 보통 거의 매일밤 그 시간이 될 때까지 자지 않고 트럼펫을 연습하거든요."
